PAF-KIET Delegation secured 2nd position in LUMS Olympiad 2008

LUMS Olympiad 2008 was the annual event held at the leading research university in South Asia, i.e. Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS) and was organized by LUMS student body. Around 400 institutes all across Pakistan participated into LUMS Olympiad. It was categorized into 3 events – the first event was competitive events which included Fashion Designing, Mind Quest, Live Art, Thematic Art, Speed Filming, Declamation, Music Video, Photo Essay, Law Moot Court, Debates, Chess, Singing, Math and Logic and Dramatics. The participants were rewarded for their extra ordinary performance in their respected area. The 2nd event was workshop events which were taken by renowned artists of Pakistan. 3rd Event comprised of various Social events, at the end of each day which were categorized as the prominent attraction for all the delegates at LUMS. Delegation of 6 members from PAF-KIET took active part in LUMS Olympiad 2008. PAF-KIET Delegation secured 2nd position in Gravity Challenge and received Award of Appreciation shield for putting up extra-ordinary effort in all the events of the competition. The delegation made PAF-KIET proud by achieving a standing ovation for their remarkable efforts.
